Job Description :
The Environmental Services Worker cleans patient rooms and general spaces throughout the health system facilities following safe work practices and infection control procedures. This role works to maintain all designated areas are kept in optimal cleaning standards according to established disinfection and sterilization guidelines and practices. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: None. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skill to prioritize work in an efficient and effective manner. Proven ability to read and write and understand oral instructions and safety signage. Ability to meet the physical requirements and working conditions of the job. Shown ability to be customer service driven. Demonstrated ability to use a phone/paging system for cleaning assignments.
