Job Title: Environmental TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are partnering with a large environmental consulting firm to train an environmental field technician to work on large agricultural projects and landfill sites. The ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined and knowledgeable with a multimeter.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance of groundwater and soil treatment systems.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting or repair as necessary.
- Record and maintain daily field logs reporting data collected, field observations, actions taken, and recommended actions to be taken.
- Manage condensate system operations and maintenance.
- Perform surface emissions sampling at various test locations including wells, probes, headers, blowers, flares, and pumps.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain various analytical and monitoring equipment.
- Evaluate and interpret scientific data.
- Communicate observations and technical data verbally and in writing with supervisors and clients.
Skills & Qualifications- High School Diploma required.
- Knowledgeable with a multimeter.
- Mechanical inclination.
- Ability to conduct routine maintenance of groundwater and soil treatment systems.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in condensate management system operations and maintenance.
- Proficient in operating, calibrating, and maintaining analytical and monitoring equipment.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret scientific data.
- Experience in construction, general labor, environmental field work, remediation, and farming.
- Proficiency with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.) and operating electric tools (drills, saws, etc.).
- Ability to properly operate, monitor, and maintain gas collection systems in compliance with various prescribed operating parameters and goals.
- Ability to perform work independently or as a team member in a professional, productive, and safe manner, adopting the principles of the company's safety culture.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
