EP Tech Description:*JOB PURPOSE: *Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.Qualifications:*MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:*Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist.*MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:*1 year EP, Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience. No experience required if a graduate of a RCIS or EP program.*MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:*Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license required.
