Job Details:Position Summary:The Manager for the Continuing Care application team leads the development and optimization of the Electronic Medical Record system for the Catholic Health Home Care and Hospice division. Collaborating closely with Home Care and Hospice leadership and staff, the Manager supports the team in developing and implementing digital and technology tasks aligned with business strategies. Additionally, the Manager oversees and manages the team's daily deliverables, including task management, project completion, and timely issue resolution. Proficiency in Epic Dorothy and Comfort applications, as well as other project management tools, is essential for maintaining workflow and deliverables. Essential Functions:
  • Participates in and leads projects in all aspects of Epic Dorothy and Comfort systems implementation (planning, building, testing, training, implementing, and production support).
  • Assists clients in defining functional requirements and configuring systems to support operational needs.
  • Maintains professional knowledge of current trends and developments in digital technology and healthcare industries through seminars, conferences, and independent study.
  • Manages schedules and time management. Trains staff to meet IT strategic and operational objectives, ensuring appropriate career development opportunities, counseling for performance improvement, and conducting yearly appraisals.
  • Creates a team-oriented, professional work environment that retains talented DTS professionals.
  • Utilizes various tools and applications, including Agile Methodology, Time Tracking, and Service Desk ticket applications, to record workload and events.
  • Demonstrates commitment to customer service by providing responsive support, fostering solid working relationships, and delivering high-quality services exceeding customer expectations.
  • Plays an active role in the DTS information security awareness program, following and supporting all Catholic Health information security policies and procedures.
Education, Training, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5+ years of EPIC IT experience.
  • Working knowledge or experience in the Continuing Care field is desirable; a clinical degree with at least 5 years in a progressive clinical role is preferred.
  • Epic Dorothy and Comfort, Ambulatory, or ClinDoc Epic Certification is highly desired.
Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A predisposition to collaborate with others in the attainment of common goals and objectives.
  • Very strong clinical orientation and ability to develop solid working relationships with end-users.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, online communication tools (Zoom, Teams, and Slack), ClickUp, and UKG/Kronos.
  • Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan).
  • Demonstrated successful implementation of clinical information solutions.
  • Creative, innovative, and flexible in responding to rapidly changing needs and priorities.
Posted Salary Range:USD $150,000.00 - USD $167,000.00 /Yr. :

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
