Position Overview:

LevelUP is seeking certified Epic Hospital Billing Analysts to join the team of our healthcare client, Adventist Health. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient billing of hospital claims using the Epic system. The analyst will work closely with clinical, revenue cycle, and IT teams to optimize billing workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with payer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospital billing processes, extensive experience with Epic's billing module, and proficiency in identifying opportunities for improvement in revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Epic Billing System Management:
• Utilize Epic's hospital billing (HB) module to manage and process claims.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues within the Epic system related to billing and claims processing.
• Collaborate with the IT department to configure and maintain billing workflows, ensuring they align with operational needs and compliance standards.
• Claims Analysis & Submission:
• Ensure the timely and accurate submission of hospital claims to payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Conduct detailed analysis of claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with payer requirements.
• Identify and resolve billing issues such as rejected or denied claims, working closely with coding teams to ensure proper usage of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Revenue Cycle Optimization:
• Work with revenue cycle teams to streamline billing processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Identify opportunities within Epic to automate and enhance billing processes to increase revenue capture.
• Monitor and analyze billing trends, using data to recommend improvements in workflows and systems.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Generate regular billing reports from Epic to assess performance, identify discrepancies, and track revenue.
• Maintain detailed documentation of billing processes, workflows, and any changes made within Epic.

Salary Range: $103,727 - $155,590
