Duties include operating a variety of light/medium equipment with specialized functions involving driving/maneuvering in and around confined spaces; Backhoe, Excavator, Bobcats, Skidsteer, Front End Loader, and Dump trucks; fueling trucks and equipment; pre-inspecting trucks and equipment daily; mapping and locating jobs; trenching; and updating database information. Examples of Duties
- Drives vehicles and light/medium equipment.
- Operates various light/ medium equipment.
- Fuels vehicles; cleans truck and equipment.
- Maintains proper PPE and adheres to proper safety protocol.
- Loads and unloads equipment and supplies; straps equipment for travel.
- Assists coworkers in the field watching for traffic.
- Takes pictures of cut or damaged lines and assess job site.
- Enters data.
- Adheres to safety standards.
- Inspects vehicles; makes minor repairs; and schedules maintenance and repairs.
- Generates reports.
- Performs housekeeping and sanitation activities.
- Perform the duty of shooting grades.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses or Certifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred commercial driver's license (CDL), Class A or obtain within 1 year of employment.
