Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.HX5 is currently seeking an Equipment Specialist to support the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Support program requirements utilizing various MIS systems such as D043 Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV AF), Fedmall, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS), Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS), Haystack and other databases relating to the aircraft and its systems to help determine problem areas on assigned systems and items.
- Serve as a technical advisor to senior leaders and maintenance technicians in maintenance, and operations and training for the assigned weapon system and associated equipment.
- Review and analyze technical problems/malfunctions affecting assigned equipment generated from a variety of sources including Technical Assistance Requests (TARs), DRs, AFTO Form 22/252s, MSTG/SSG, telephone calls, Innovative Development through Employee Awareness (IDEA), and aircraft mishaps.
- Support trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/technical data verification
Education and Experience: Must have the following education and experience:
- High School with twenty (20) years of relevant experience and eight (8) years of DoD experience.
- OR: Bachelor's Degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.
- OR: Master's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.
Other Position Requirements: - Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel
