Equipment Technician/Certified Equipment Technician - County of Okaloosa Florida : Job Details

Equipment Technician:Maintains and repairs small engines, vehicles and off-road equipment; delivers fuel; transports equipment. Certified Equipment Technician and Master Equipment Technician:Maintains and repairs automotive and mechanical equipment. EXAMPLES OF WORK - Performs maintenance and repairs on vehicles, heavy equipment, tools and equipment, and mechanical systems and components. - Reads and interprets shop manuals, diagrams and sketches. - Operates hand-held manual, electrical and gas-powered tools and equipment. - Maintains and ensures the safe operating condition of equipment, tools and vehicles. - Performs records maintenance duties. - Reports any detected deterioration, repair and maintenance needs to supervisor. - Assists with planning, scheduling and coordination of tasks. - Performs related duties as required.
