Equipment Technician - RecruitMilitary Placement Services : Job Details

This position would serve as a regional field service technician of the southeastern-most territories (AR, LA, and SE Texas). Skills: Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Diesel, and Electrical Job duties include:- Evaluating equipment based on reported problem- Diagnosing malfunctioning equipment- Discussing needed repairs with supervisor- Completing parts requisition for necessary parts to make repairs- Replacing faulty parts- Repairing unit to be operational and safety compliant- Assisting other technicians as needed or directed by supervisor- Maintaining a clean and safe work area along with maintaining yard and building- Maintaining shop tools and fixtures and reporting misuse- Inspect equipment serialized rental equipment prior to the next rent- Ensure safety of equipment prior to equipment being deemed Rent Ready - Ensure proper yard flow and work with Delivery Drivers, Shop Foreperson and supervisor on issues that arise- Continually inspect Rent Ready equipment for proper Rent Ready tag and ensure machines continue to be in rent ready condition (full of fuel, charged, clean, and so on)- Reduce Maintenance costs of rental fleet- Be aware of Parts ordering/procurement process- Develop priority Repair process- Monitor and communicate all customer damage of rental equipment- Monitor Rental PM Process- Work closely with Service and Parts departments to maintain good working relationship- Learn process of rental work-orders monitoring of Service & Parts Departments- Assist in Parts ExpeditingOvertime is availableHealth/Vision/DentalCar allowance
