Our client, Merck & Co. Inc.is seeking a Equipment Technicianto join their team.

Job Title: Equipment Technician

Location: Boise, ID

Pay Range: $27.22

Whats the Job?

  • Production Support: Assist in the production of RFID systems, focusing on circuit board level soldering and repair
  • Wire Work: Terminate wires with various connectors and prepare wire kits for production.
  • Circuit Board Repair: Perform surface mount component repair on circuit boards.
  • Shop Assistance: Support day-to-day operations of the electronics shop.

Whats Needed?

  • Soldering Skills: Proficient in soldering with the ability to repair circuit boards.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently or within a team.
  • Test Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with using standard bench-top test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
  • Reading Diagrams: Ability to follow and read wire diagrams.
