ERP Business Systems Analyst - Insight Global : Job Details

Day-to-day:

Insight Global is looking for a Senior ERP BSA . This senior ERP Business & Systems Analyst will be a member of the Enterprise Applications team whose responsibility is to support and enhance key back office Business Application systems like: ERP(JDE EnterpriseOne), Workforce, Sales Audit, Business Objects (Crystal Report) etc.. This role works closely with both business users and the team's functional and technical members on user support as well as on identifying and solutioning operational improvement opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Implement new/existing business application functions: Define and map business processes, configure systems, and understand integration between various applications.
• Identify opportunities for improvement: Recommend and design solutions to enhance application functionality and business processes.
• Create documentation: Develop requirement documents and functional designs for enhancement projects.
• Develop and document test plans: Create test plans, scripts, scenarios, end-user guides, training materials, and how-to solutions.
• Report development and maintenance: Develop new reports and maintain/support existing reports using Crystal and other reporting tools.
• User support: Provide daily support for both standard and customized JDE applications in Financials, HR, Payroll, and Procurement areas.
• Support ancillary applications: Offer functional and user support for applications related to the core JDE ERP system (including Sales Audit, Workforce, Business Objects, ETL).
• Data analysis and issue research: Analyze data and research issues using SQL and other query tools.
• Foster user community learning: Promote ongoing learning within the user community.
• Testing collaboration: Work with ERP developers and business users to perform unit and UAT testing.
• Flexible work schedule: Be available for rotating weekend and holiday shifts, as well as occasional extended workdays to support business needs.

Required:

• Extensive experience in optimizing and supporting business processes using JDE EnterpriseOne ERP System.
• 10-15 years of JDE BA experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience implementing, optimizing and supporting JDE EnterpriseOne ERP applications.
• Working knowledge of database concepts and JDE ERP file structures
• Experience in developing reports using Crystal Reports or other similar reporting toolsets.
• Worked as a Subject Matter Expert and Business Analyst the following business functional areas: Financials, Procurement.
• Have updated knowledge on industry best practices in business processes and how they are implemented in the ERP system.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, writing JDE functional design documents and developing test plans.
• Played main BA role in JDE new system or new functional module implementation projects.
• Experience in design 3rd party interface in and out of JDE EnterpriseOne system.
• Basic knowledge on relational database and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to interact with business users, understand business processes, and engineer solutions to various business requirements.

Preferred:

• Programing and scripting experience
• Knowledge of advanced report development methodologies using Crystal Reports or similar tools.
• ETL tools experience
• User training and writing training manual
