Over the years, we have continually expanded our capabilities, earning the trust of global OEMs. POSITION SUMMARY The Estimating Manager plays a pivotal role in managing diverse accounts and projects while driving the evaluation and optimization of production processes. This position involves maintaining strong communication with vendors and clients to understand and meet customer needs. Additionally, the Business Development Manager oversees the estimating team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of client requests while fostering relationships that support long-term business growth. Typical Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Client Consultation & Negotiation: Engage with clients to develop and finalize project specifications, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
  • Project Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate the feasibility of projects by analyzing technology requirements, resource availability, and market demand.
  • Proposal Development: Provide accurate production capability assessments and labor estimates for customer proposals.
  • Client Presentations: Present proposals, reports, and project findings to clients, effectively communicating complex information.
  • Project Budgeting & Contracts: Develop and monitor project budgets, bids, and contracts to ensure financial and contractual compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with management, production, and sales teams to discuss and refine project specifications and procedures.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as requested to support the success of the organization.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage the estimating team in alignment with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience and/or Training:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator or similar position; 3 plus years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and client relationship management.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using ERP software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes including; cutting, forming, machining, welding, and finishing.
  • Experience with Solid Edge or similar CAD software and estimating software
  • Experience with understanding customer drawings and tolerances
  • Other Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
