Estimator (Construction) - Perennial Resources International : Job Details

I am looking for a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic team in Central Islip, NY. I need a qualified Construction Estimator who can play a crucial role in preparing estimates for new projects as well as ensuring cost control measures are being met. This role pays a very generous salary along with employee benefits package. Responsibilities

• Developing project schedules and timelines
• Analyze and review construction plans, documents and specs to build scope of work, costs and contracts
• Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications.
• Work with project managers to understand and execute change order requests
• Conduct quality take-offs from drawings.
• Prepare proposals.
• Prepare preliminary construction budgets.
• Prepare bid packages.
• Review plans and issue RFIs.
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to request bids/quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred but high school and equivalent work experience accepted
• Previous construction and full time estimating experience needed
• Strong computer skills (Bluebeam, Timberline, Nitro or Excel)
