Senior Estimator - Commercial GCPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team as a key member of our Commercial General Contracting division. The position is responsible for ensuring that all estimates and proposals are accurate, competitive, and profitable.Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle estimating process from initial client contact to final proposal submission
- Develop complete and accurate estimates using industry-standard software and tools
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure accuracy of project estimates and timelines
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful bid submissions
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, project specifications, and client needs
- Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and other team members as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years experience in commercial general contracting, including cost management, budgeting, and estimating
- Expertise in the use of Bluebeam or other industry-standard estimating software
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction materials and methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
