ESTIMATOR - PKC Construction : Job Details

We are a Nationwide Commercial General Contractor seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our estimating department, overseeing the preparation of accurate and competitive bids, and managing the other estimating team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction estimating, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the estimating department, providing guidance and mentorship Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to prepare comprehensive estimates Colloborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and complete estimates Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions and pricing Develop and implement estimating processes and procedures Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices Present estimates and recommendations to management and clients Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating Proven track record of successfully leading estimating team Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage, Plan Grid, Bluebeam, Build Connect) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines What we offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with a team of passionate, friendly individuals in a collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development and growth opportunities Strong established client base Relocation Allowance Remote work will be considered If you are a motivated and experienced estimating professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your resume for review.
