The Role

As an Estimator with Project Management Experience, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of steel fabrication projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projects, ensuring that all materials and labor are accurately accounted for.
• Analyzing project drawings, specifications, and contracts to assess scope, requirements, and potential risks.
• Collaborating closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and subcontractors, to ensure accurate pricing and realistic timelines.
• Overseeing project planning and execution to ensure alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Maintaining detailed documentation for all project-related activities, including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project progress reports.

The Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:

• Proven experience in estimating within the steel or construction industry, with a solid understanding of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and installation processes.
• Project management experience, including planning, execution, and budget management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, Procore, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
