Estimator - Imperium Global : Job Details

They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator specializing in earthwork and utilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects, including site development, road construction, utility installations, and excavation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, and related scopes of work.
• Research and source materials, subcontractors, and equipment pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine project scopes and budgets.
• Utilize estimating software to create detailed proposals and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and contract negotiations.
• Track market trends and adjust cost data to reflect current conditions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in heavy civil construction, with a focus on earthwork and utilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and methods.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
