Position Overview:

We are seeking an Estimator, Sustainable Energy to join our growing team. This remote role will work closely with the Sustainable Energy Development Engineering team to help with cost estimation of solar, electric vehicle, and backup generator projects. You'll be involved in system cost estimating, vendor pricing management, and providing technical support to sales teams

Key Responsibilities:

Estimate costs for solar, EV, and backup generator projects for commercial and industrial clients (C&I, 30 MW to 100 KW).

Work with vendors and subcontractors to collect and review pricing data.

Use Procore and Helioscope for estimating and creating system layouts.

Assist in developing preliminary design budgets with the development team.

Maintain and manage pricing databases and vendor relationships.

Participate in the procurement and subcontractor negotiation process.

Continuously improve cost estimation accuracy by reviewing data and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in estimating sustainable energy projects (solar, EV charging, storage).

Electrical background with experience in subcontractor tendering and evaluation.

Proficiency in Procore and MS Office; familiarity with MS Project.

Exceptional multitasking and project management skills with an eye for detail.

Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.

NABCEP certification and Journeyman/Master electrical license are a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Energy Systems, or related field preferred (but not required).
