About the Company - PJ Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Estimator. P.J. Mechanical specializes in new construction, construction retrofits, renovations and alterations of new and pre-existing air conditioning systems.

About the Role - Bid large scale commercial Projects for all types of contracts. Responsible for heavy subcontractor, vendor, and client interface. Experience in estimating, Sheet metal, Piping and HVAC Systems, strong knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret mechanical drawings. Ability to prepare time, material and equipment and labor estimates. Prepare bid packages for review and submission. Research materials, sourcing options, labor options. Review Proposal specifications, scope and leveling sheets. Attend pre bid meetings and job walk through, scope review meetings and award meetings in a professional manner. The mechanical estimator will evaluate the total cost of a project. Your job is to help those in charge make decisions on projects based on the pricing data you compile. In this career, you may work on anything from mechanical system upgrades to new construction projects.

Responsibilities - Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction Management or similar from an accredited institution is preferred but not required. 5 plus years of relevant experience. Good numeracy skills, must be detail oriented. Computer competences for various data bases, such as Blue beam, MS Excel, Trimble. Excellent written and verbal and organizational skills.

Pay range and compensation package - SALARY RANGE: $100,000- $150,000/ Annually
