About the Position: The estimating position duties will include but not be limited to: Review and understand scope of work and project specifications from architectural drawings, specifications and other pertinent bid documents. Compute labor and material cost estimates and itemized lists of materials Prepare quotes / bids for negotiated Re-Roofing or Consultant Re-Roofing from field information. Assist in updating and improving estimating and bidding process to reflect changes in market and business conditions. Stay current with industry standards, processes, and techniques. Maintain good relationships and communication with prime contractors, owners, staff, and manufacturers to increase sales and customer satisfaction. Requirements: 5-7 years' experience as an Estimator in commercial/industrial roofing. Prior sales experience in roofing and/or construction is a plus. Knowledge of singly-ply membranes and attachment methods.
