The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, ensuring profitability, and collaborating with internal teams. - Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Apply estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles.
- Collaborate internally with multiple team leaders to ensure successful bids.
- Prepare bid packages, analysis of subcontractor bids, and conceptual estimates.
- Evaluate and negotiate project contracts and agreements.
- Continuously monitor project costs and adjust estimates as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of larger estimating assignments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in estimating with a focus on water and wastewater plants
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong understanding of Estimator software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to manage changing timelines and collaborate with multiple team leaders
- Excellent communication skills
