Essential Functions:\nThe PM Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service. The role involves daily collaboration with the Chef to execute dinner service and prepare for upcoming meals while maintaining an emphasis on freshness, cleanliness, and quality.Full-Time Benefits! Health and Dental eligible, 401k Plan eligibility!Schedule: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM (Saturday off; one additional day off to be discussed)Starting Wage: $20.00 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesMenu Preparation and Cooking:* Review recipes and daily menus with the Chef.* Prepare fresh daily meals, including soup, salad, 1-2 entrees, starch, vegetable, dessert, and bread.* Create homemade desserts when possible.* Prepare hors d'oeuvres for social events, such as cheese platters, crackers, vegetable crudité, and appetizers.Setup and Service:* Set up the social room and dining room in preparation for events.* Ensure social setup is complete by 5:45 PM and dinner is served by 6:15 PM.Kitchen Stock and Maintenance:* Stock the residents' kitchen with fresh food and supplies, especially ensuring extra supplies on Fridays for the Saturday coverage.* Notify the Chef of any low or out-of-stock items.* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, adhering to State and Taher rules and regulationsSpecial Events:* Assist in the preparation, cooking, and service for special events as required.Additional NotesThis job description is designed to outline the core duties and responsibilities.
