These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending on building assignment and other factors determined with supervisor and/or building principal. DUTIES: The primary purpose of this position is to support buildings and grounds functions. This position requires the employee to be flexible, work at a fast pace, and produce high quality results the full 8 hours. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.   • Removing and recycling trash
  • Lifting chairs and tables
  • Disinfecting tables, desks and other surfaces
  • Disinfecting & cleaning restrooms
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming with a battery backpack vacuum
  • High dusting
  • Events set-ups and take downs and other similar tasks
  • Cleaning chemicals are used daily
  • Collaboratively working with a team
  • Snow shoveling and ice melt application
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly and repetitively required to; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms;. The employee is frequently required to; bend; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl;. The employee must have no chemical sensitivity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat; or vibration.
