The Event & Filming Services department of the Long Beach Community College District is seeking highly-qualified individuals to be our Event and Facility Rental Coordinator! The incumbent coordinates and performs a variety of complex and responsible duties to coordinate logistics and support both athletic and non-athletic special events held at Veterans Memorial Stadium and other district rental facilities. The position processes rental permits, works with internal and external user groups, assists in event planning and development and acts as the department's liaison. We are looking for someone who has experience in providing direct, day-to-day organizational and technical coordination of programs and services organized through the event and filming services area and acts as the backup for the Manager, Events and Community Relations in ensuring event and filming services activities are carried out according to district policies, procedures, and practices, as well as pertinent laws, regulations and codes.
