**Description**
**Essential Duties**
* Update events calendar
* Follow up with payments and insurance certificates for events
* Execute proposals for review prior to sending to client
* Contact with clients to discuss needs for their event (menus, set up, entertainment, etc)
* Provide an increased value and an exceptional experience to our guests
* Schedule BEO meeting and prepare proper documents for meeting
* Assist in planning, set- up and extension of Special Events, etc.
* Ensure adherence and compliance with all departments and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations.
* Attend meetings and training sessions.
* Assist in achieving sales goals.
* Knowledge of Social tables, Caterease, Pre and Post Formas
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the company success
* Hotel software knowledge
* Provide an increase value and an exceptional experience to our guests
* Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to our guests
**Work/Educational Experience**
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Possess a high school or equivalent diploma
* Associates Degree in related field
+ Or Three (3) years experience related work experience
* Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate gaming license through to the New York State Gaming Commission
