Gathering Required Items: The server is responsible for collecting all necessary items and supplies needed for their shift, including but not limited to menus, service carts, beverages, utensils, napkins, drinkware, and other event-specific materials. This ensures they are fully prepared to provide seamless service throughout the event. Event Space Setup: Prior to guest arrival, servers assist in setting up the event space, which includes arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for service. They also ensure food and beverage stations are properly stocked and aligned with event specifications. Customer Service & Interaction:Maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, anticipating and meeting their needs. Handle social interactions with guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable. Respond to complaints or inquiries from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
