The Role and What You'll Do: The Event Development Coordinator works with the Live Events Strategy Team to help with UFC and WWE's live event scheduling and market selection strategy. This position will assist in booking, routing, venue relations, and market research.
  • Assists UFC and WWE in the booking and routing process to ensure alignment on key markets and event initiatives across both properties.
  • Maintains the master TKO event calendar and venue availability tracker
  • Helps identify prospective new markets, venues and opportunities
  • Coordinates the venue contract routing process for all domestic and international events by working with TKO Legal to ensure all proper paperwork and insurance are in place for each live event
  • Performs significant market research and analysis of data regarding ticket sales, competitive events, buying trends, disposable income, DMAs, TV ratings and PPV buys.
  • Assists with management of the internal HUB and Live Event System to ensure accuracy of all event information is properly communicated
  • Responsible for live event performance recaps inclusive of marketing, media, ticket sales and other key metrics
  • Acts as the liaison between internal teams and venue contacts to streamline communication and ensure event deliverables are met
  • Performs administrative responsibilities for the Vice President, Event Development & Live Events Team as requested.
  • Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
You Have These:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or other related area. Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in sports marketing, special events, professional team, arena, or entertainment industry.
  • Minimum of one year of experience conducting market research.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Understanding of marketing and advertising principles and the ability to think outside the box .
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and the ability to learn other basic computer programs.
