JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a talented and experienced Backup DJ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and a deep understanding of various genres. The Disc Jockey will be responsible for creating and maintaining a lively and engaging atmosphere at events.. This is a part-time position that usually requires availability on nights and weekends.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:o Provide wide range of playlists and music mixes depending on the setting and choose music to suit your audience's taste and the venue's music policy.o Feed off the crowd and get the crowd involved with the activities and events of the venue for entertainment value.o Have knowledge of music trends.o Ensure a smooth transition between songs and maintain a consistent flow of musico Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding music licensing and copyrightJOB QUALIFICATIONS:o Minimum of 1 year of experience as a DJ, particularly in large-scale events or arena settings.o Proficient in using advanced DJ equipment, including digital mixers, controllers, and professional sound systems.o Expertise in crowd engagement techniques, with a talent for reading audience reactions and adapting performances accordingly.o Strong team player with the ability to coordinate with sound technicians and other crew members effectively.o Strong ability to adapt to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environmento This position requires working nights, weekends and holidays as necessaryPhysical Demands and Working Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
