The Event Manager is responsible for planning and executing exceptional events at Stockton Inn, ensuring seamless coordination, top-tier service, and unforgettable guest experiences. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of hospitality and event logistics. The ideal candidate excels in communication, problem-solving, and managing multiple events simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute private events, weddings, and special occasions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and bring their event to life.
Work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Oversee event logistics, including staffing, setup, breakdown, and vendor coordination.
Manage event budgets, contracts, and billing.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle client inquiries, provide tours, and manage bookings.
Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and community partners.
Previous experience in event planning, banquet management, or hospitality coordination.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of event management software and POS systems is a plus.
