Overview The Event Staff primary function is to use knowledge of the building and its services to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons entering the facility. - Foster a positive and enjoyable environment with positive attitude for all guests attending an event
- Responsibilities may include ticket scanning, ticket taking, partial security screening, guest questions, responding to incidents on venue property, directing guests to seating locations, etc
- Ensure all guests are following venue, act, or promoter specific rules and regulations
- Provide assistance to patrons with special needs or wheelchair access
- Direct guests in a variety of situations including emergencies
- Monitor and report any potential unsafe situations to direct supervisor

- Hand out flyers or other promotional items
- Find opportunities to improve the guest experience
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Employee must be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays dependent on events schedule
- Stand and walk for four to six hours at a time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment
