We have strong aspirations to become the most popular high-protein bar in North America and beyond.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Events Manager, you'll be a key driver in building impactful community connections and increasing brand visibility through event activations. This role will lead both the strategy and execution for events that engage David current and potential consumers, with the goal of increasing brand advocacy and awareness. You will build and lead David's function of event marketing, being responsible for experiential activations, strategic partnerships, in-store demos, and special projects. This role reports to David's Director of Growth.

Events strategy:

  • Develop a strategy for in-person events and in-store demos that maximizes consumer engagement and brand advocacy.
  • Continually raise the efficacy of events, propose new event types, and garner learnings to iterate over time.
  • Develop mechanisms, processes, and measurement of all events to understand what is working and what needs improvement.
  • Own operations and prioritization of event resources; conduct monthly business recaps and monthly/annual resource planning.
  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders (like influencers, other brands, or event venues) to maximize the effectiveness of events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing function more broadly for alignment of event strategy with broader brand strategy, as well as budget management / resource allocation.

Event execution:

  • Create an events and in-store demos calendar aligned with the Events strategy.
  • Ensure professional execution of all events and demos.
  • Lead planning, staffing, and on-site management for events and demos.
  • Own all vendor relationships for this vertical.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong project management skills, diligence, and a meticulous eye for detail and execution
  • A strong EQ and a love for providing a great experience
  • A self-starting attitude with a love for executing on ideas and moving quickly
  • The ability to operate independently while clearly communicating your priorities and initiatives to the rest of the team
  • Humble, self-aware, and curious
  • A desire to help build an early-stage CPG company with a mission to create tools to increase muscle and decrease fat
  • Note - we care much more about your attributes than your experience. If you are early in your career, do not be deterred from applying if you feel that you are the right fit

  • Nights and weekends will be required given the timing of events.

Application Process:
