**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Events Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of events that promote Confluent.ios brand, engage our audience, and support business objectives.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Event Planning and Execution: Manage all aspects of event planning, including logistics, budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, and on-site coordination for both virtual and in-person events.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product, to ensure alignment throughout the planning process and successful execution of events.
+ Promotion: Develop and implement event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement, utilizing various channels including social media, email marketing, and partnerships.
+ Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to achieve high-quality event delivery.
+ Budget Management: Monitor event budgets, ensuring all expenses remain within the approved limits and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
+ Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback and analyze event performance to measure success and identify areas for improvement in future events.
**What You Will Bring:**
+ Bachelors degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
+ 2-4 years of experience in event coordination, project management, or a similar role.
+ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships.
+ Proficiency in event management software, event technology, Slack and G-Suite
+ A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of navigating fast-paced environments.

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $88,500 - $103,950, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
