Responsible for communicating event information to Team Members and guests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:* Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all items.* Implements all promotions and events as assigned.* Works within a team to ensure that all items needed to carry out promotions and events are in the appropriate place and in a timely manner, including necessary supplies and decorations.* Implements set-up and breakdown of promotional or event setting.* Interacts with guests, establishes rapport and answers general questions during the promotion and events.* Issue and redeem prizes through the player tracking system or other approved marketing methods.* Prepares promotional checks based on promotional prize values of promotion.* Ensures appropriate tax forms and required documents are completed and issues promotional checks to winners.* Maintains a working knowledge of all promotions and events in order to effectively explain to guests.* May make announcements pertaining to promotions and events using a microphone.* Creates an atmosphere of excitement for all casino guests.* Acts in a courteous and professional manner and exhibits a positive, outgoing personality.* Ensures to a high degree the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, and for maintaining an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction.* Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.* Assists the Internal Communications Specialist as needed.* Ushers as needed by management for events.* Performs any reasonable request made by management.PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily:* Perform job duties, demonstrate excellent work habits, and deliver exceptional services to internal and external guests.* Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, including appearance, attendance, reliability, team work, ethics, integrity, and comply with all governing policies and procedures.* Employ positive and professional communication skills and exercise professional interpersonal abilities (tact, diplomacy, and respect) with guests and co-workers at all times.* Maintain a high level of organization, including an orderly and neat work area and excellent time management skills leading to the highest levels of productivity.* Demonstrate a desire to succeed and willingness to help others succeed.* Participate in open communication and provide feedback to management regarding operations, staffing, personal development, and operational productivity.* Serve as contributing team member of CGRC, enhancing operations in all its business endeavors.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One to two years of related guest service experience preferred. One to two years of events or promotions experience preferred. Experience working with the public required.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to effectively perform independently is required. Must possess excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Must be organized and detailed-oriented. Computer skills required. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to effectively resolve problems, based on common-sense use of reasoning ability, as well as knowledge of established company policies. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of company.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
