Job Description :
SWBC is seeking a talented individual to preside over technology staff in the lender placed insurance business to include strategic plan development and implementation, initiates and oversees division financial performance, determines and administers division budget, and provides leadership direction and support.Essential duties include the following:
  • Presides over the executive staff and overall division strategic initiatives involved in providing operational support to mortgage and automotive clients to include formulating and implementing strategic and tactical operating plans; monitoring performance through implementation to ensure key goals are achieved; developing, coaching, and evaluating the performance of the executive leaders; and providing leadership knowledge and insight to enhance the leadership skills and business acumen of the executive team.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading large scale application development of software.
  • Ability to drive cultural change within an application development environment that drives a customer service mindset and fosters continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability juggling multiple large scale efforts at one time with successful results.
  • Resolves and responds to requests and collaborates to achieve workable solutions.
  • Directs and oversees the activities involved in business development to include providing support in the areas of sales and account management to attract and retain profitable business.
  • Oversees and administers financial performance initiatives by creating awareness and feedback within the organization; collaborates with Finance to establish tools to track product and client profitability; and seeks opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Provides process improvement knowledge, methods, and conceptual expertise to division and leadership team.
  • Recognizes opportunities and initiates key activities focused on improving operating performance and customer service.
  • Performs analysis and problem solving for highly complex and/or sensitive customer questions, issues, and/or complaints.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of executive-level business operations experience within the mortgage, finance, or insurance industry, which includes at least three to five (3-5) years directing a senior-level management team.
  • Demonstrated support track record in sales, growth, and business development.
  • Strong working knowledge of PC's and related applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and the like.
  • Proficient knowledge of mortgage and automotive lender placed insurance.
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in designing and implementing strategies for the future and create a culture in which the long-range goals can be achieved.
  • Proven leadership skills to effectively motivate, encourage, and sustain quality, compliance, and efficiency requirements and strategic goals.
  • Extensive leadership experience including managing multi-million-dollar budgets and high performing staff.
  • Excellent analytical, problem resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to allocate authority and/or tasks responsibility to appropriate personnel.
  • Able to collaborate, influence, and build strong business partnerships with various external constituencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to obtain and appropriate the proper usage of equipment, facilities, materials, as well as personnel.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time while analyzing performance, developing reports, or performing other sedentary duties.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time while conducting presentation or other activities.
  • Able to lift 10-20 lbs. of reports or other documents.
  • Able to travel locally or nationally.
