We are currently accepting applications for an Excavation Foreman wanting to advance their construction career. The ideal candidate will be able to supervise field operations effectively and safely for Earthwork/Roadway/Grading projects.

This is a working superintendent position. You'll be doing the same work as the crew you lead.

This is a safety sensitive position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a laborers/crew.

* Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.

* Responsible for crew safety and establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program.

* Perform various tasks at job site with equipment provided.

* Complete and approve weekly timecard related to assigned job.

* Meet job completion deadlines.

* Produce a high quality of work.

* Maintain a good attendance record.

* Observe Company policies and procedures.

* Observe Company safety rules and regulations.

* Present a positive attitude about the Company and the job and maintains professional relationship with Owner.

Position Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience.

* Knowledgeable in the areas of dirt work, including excavation, grade work, surveying, and final excavating work.

* Experienced using all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.

* Ability to read plans.

* Good communication skills.

* Team Player.

* Previous experience directing other employees and organizing work.

* Ability to comprehend and complete instructions given by supervisor.

* Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test. Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Redstone Construction Group standards & processes.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

* Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.

* Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that are typically associated with a construction project.

* Employee regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.

* Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on construction sites such as form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel and ready mixed concrete.
