The South Carolina Office of the Commissioner of Banking is seeking an Executive Assistant. Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant
* Perform various administrative duties for the Commissioner of Banking and other staff members including answering and directing phone calls and acting as the point of contact among executives, employees, and external parties.
* Manage executives' calendars, set up meetings, and make travel and accommodation arrangements.
* Manage the division's annual report process including overseeing the division's statistical information databases and the preparation of the annual report.
* Monitor employee travel reimbursements and ensure travel reimbursements are in accordance with State travel regulations.
* Act as office manager to include ordering supplies, processing incoming mail, and maintaining the division's files.
* Serve as parking coordinator and as agency liaison to State Surplus Property.
* Other duties as required.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Agency Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and experience in public administration, business administration, planning or public relations. Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance related experience preferred. Ability to interpret and analyze financial data, records, and reports.
