EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – ACADEMY FOUNDATION
Status: FULL TIME – NON-EXEMPT
Compensation: $26 - $28 per hour*
Location – Hybrid (3 days in office currently; subject to change)
Applicant must reside in Los Angeles metro area
Reports to: Executive Director, TVAF

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, founded in 1946, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing telecommunication arts and sciences and nurturing creative leadership in the television industry. The Television Academy comprises over 26,000+ members from 31 professional peer groups, including performers, directors and producers to name a few.
The Television Academy recognizes excellence among its peers with the Emmy award, culminating in the Primetime Emmy Awards telecast each fall. The Television Academy also produces several other awards shows and a variety of activities and events for its members throughout the year. These events are featured across the Academy's digital platforms and in its award-winning emmy magazine.
About the Role:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level support to the Executive Director and Foundation Chairman. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, managing schedules, and supporting key initiatives. You'll also serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors and senior leadership team—making your role critical to the success of the Foundation and Academy.
What You'll Do:
· Provide Executive Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, handle correspondence, and arrange travel logistics.
· Organizational Excellence: Maintain financial, program, and administrative dashboards.
· Office & Operations Management: Keep office supplies in check, prepare meeting agendas, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
· Stakeholder Relations: Support the development team by coordinating donor outreach and maintaining relationships with key partners.
· Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism.
What We're Looking For:
· A Master Multi-Tasker: You can juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
· A Natural Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft, edit, and proofread professional correspondence.
· A Relationship Builder: You enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, from executives and board members to donors and external partners.
· A Problem-Solver: You anticipate challenges, take initiative, and proactively propose solutions.
· Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, and social media platforms. Familiarity with donor management software is a plus!
What You Bring:
· BA/BS degree preferred
· 4+ years of executive support experience
· Background in the entertainment industry or knowledge of television is a plus

*The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education, depending on experience.
