Job Description :

Our client, a leading early-stage Venture Capital firm based in Menlo Park, is actively seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support one Venture Partner and two Principals on the venture team (one focused on investing and one on business development). This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility for remote work. Salary: $120k - $140k + generous bonus and benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Venture Partner and two Principals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and setting up conference calls
  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Process expense reports, reimbursements, and assist with financial reporting
  • Assist with office logistics, including organizing meetings, events, and team functions
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects, with an emphasis on improving team efficiency and workflow
  • Collaborate closely with other teams across the firm, fostering strong internal relationships

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of prior administrative experience supporting senior executives, preferably in the financial services or venture capital industry
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with executives and clients
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with financial tools and project management software is a plus
  • Resourceful, independent, and proactive with a strong ability to problem-solve and anticipate needs
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment
