  • Along with the VP of Corporate Development, lead the corporate development team in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and investments.
  • Collaborate closely with C-suite executives to align corporate development strategies with overall business goals and growth targets.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities that could impact the company's growth strategy.
  • Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle, including deal origination, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Develop detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and assess potential risks and benefits of various strategic opportunities.
  • Prepare compelling presentation materials, investment memorandums, and business cases to communicate findings, recommendations, and potential outcomes to senior leadership and the board.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, investment firms, and industry stakeholders to source and evaluate potential deals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions, including legal, finance, operations, and integration teams.
  • Monitor post-transaction performance and integration to ensure strategic and financial objectives are achieved.
  • Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that could impact the company's strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-6 years of experience in Public Accounting (Preferably Assurance or Transaction Advisory), Investment Banking, or direct Corporate Development
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
  • Track record of successfully executing complex M&A transactions, from deal sourcing to integration.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Proven ability to negotiate deals, build relationships, and collaborate with external partners.
  • Experience in leading due diligence efforts, assessing risks, and identifying mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial modeling software, and data analysis tools.
