Executive Assistant - UnityPoint Clinic, Sioux City Operations
Sioux City, Iowa
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 1 pm

Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a background in administrative support within the healthcare industry, with the ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate strategic initiatives, and serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the healthcare operations team and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and can handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the healthcare operations leadership team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, documents, and presentations for meetings. Take minutes, track action items, and ensure follow-up on key decisions.
- Project Management: Assist with special projects, including coordinating cross-functional initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as the point of contact between the leadership team, internal departments, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
- Operational Support: Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and calls, prioritizing urgent matters. Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and proofread reports, memos, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Office Management: Ensure the smooth daily operation of the executive's office, including maintaining office supplies and handling expense reports.
Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree in business or health administration or equivalent of education and experience.
Experience:
Two years of administrative assistant experience.
Five years of administrative secretarial experience in health care preferred.
Microsoft Office Proficiency - Including Teams and Outlook.
