Come be a part of something extraordinary!RequirementsSNOWBIRD MOUNTAIN LODGELocated in Western North Carolina in the Great Smoky Mountains, Snowbird Mountain Lodge is an intimate, all-inclusive boutique property from the award-winning team at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG). Acquired by IRHG in August 2022, Snowbird provides both a secluded, tranquil retreat for guests looking to escape into nature, as well as proximity to adventure with nearby Nantahala National Forest and Lake Santeetlah. Originally built in the 1940s, Snowbird is listed on the Register of National Historic Places and offers 23 guest rooms, some of which include private decks, hot tubs, and fireplaces. A true basecamp for adventure, Snowbird is close to miles of hiking trails and fly-fishing waters and offers amenities for a range of excursions such as canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, mountain bikes, fly fishing rods, and yoga mats. As an all-inclusive experience, guests enjoy breakfast, a picnic-style lunch, and dinner in The Dining Room, as well as drinks at Fireside Bar. The chef-driven menu focuses on highlighting seasonal, local ingredients from partners across the Great Smoky Mountains. With an emphasis on curated weekend programming, Snowbird offers events year-round, with themes like Birding & Wildlife, Wellness & Yoga, and Sporting Clays & BBQ.WHAT YOU NEED:* Flexibility: Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation. In general, you can anticipate working 50 to 55 hours a week.* Experience: Executive Chef (5+ years), background in cuisine, a-la-carte, elevated yet approachable environment* Servant Leadership: Dedicated to server others, internally (team-members) and guests.* Entrepreneurial Spirit: Hands-on, passion for cooking and not a clip-board' chef.* Scratch Kitchens: Work with local farmers to purchase fresh product and serve quality dishes.* Accountability: Strong sense of finances, labor, quality control, and getting the job done.
