Job DescriptionExecutive Coach, Agile MethodologyLocation: Austin, Texas- US Type: Full-timeSummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated executive level agile coach to join our organization. As an executive agile coach, you will play a key strategic role in providing coaching and mentorship to executive leadership and will partner with leadership to embed agile principles at an organizational level. You will work closely with leadership to guide them in adopting and sustaining Agile methodologies at scale, ensuring alignment with expected business outcomes and driving continuous improvement across the organizationResponsibilities:
- Oversee agile transformation at a senior and strategic level.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to executive leadership in navigating the agile process and embed agile principles across the organization.
- Ensure alignment of agile practices with expected business outcomes.
- Foster an agile mindset across the organization, promoting an environment of continuous learning.
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance to coaches across the agile organization, ensuring consistency and standardization of approach.
- Partner with the business to build out collateral to support the agile coaching coaching (e.g. frameworks, matrices, etc.)
- Partner with the business on outlining measures of success for agile coaching across the organization, and on continuous improvement.
- Developing and maintaining the Agile Transformation roadmap.
- Create and facilitate Agile workshops supporting the transformation.
- Provide visibility and understanding of team performance to allow teams to take continuous improvement actions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 10+ years' of experience in organizational transformation, agile coaching & facilitation, with a proven track record of leading large scale Agile transformations.
- Experience: 5+ years' experience in a senior leadership role, coaching and mentoring executive leadership on transformational initiatives, change management and influencing organizational strategy.
- Agile Knowledge: Sound understanding of Agile methodologies and Scaled Agile frameworks.
- Effective Agile Coaching experience at all levels of an organization
- Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments.
- Strong skills facilitating, collaborating, leading, training, and coaching.
- Expert understanding of metrics and measurements used to determine team performance.
- Experience working with technologists and business leaders.
- Conflict Management and resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust, and influence outcomes at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline).
- Agile certification: Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, CTC, or equivalent) or Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM) required. Additional certifications in scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe SPC, LeSS) are a plus.
- Experience utilizing agile delivery/ALM tools (Jira, etc).
- Expert with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint.
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $200-220k. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
