About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its assisted living and memory care community. The successful candidate will essentially function as the CEO of the community, responsible for driving comprehensive business results and ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. This role involves direct and indirect supervision of the community's operation, including the training, coaching, and performance evaluation of staff. The Executive Director will also be in charge of maintaining compliance with state regulations, overseeing the community budget, and managing the resident admission process. Motivating employees, promoting positive relations, and addressing any concerns or grievances in a timely manner are also key responsibilities.Applicants for the Executive Director position must have the appropriate certification or license to run an assisted living or memory care facility, along with a minimum of an Associate's degree and a background that includes at least 2 years in geriatrics or 3 years in a management position. Experience in budgeting, staff development, training, and scheduling is essential. The role requires the ability to problem-solve in both resident care and employee management, as well as the capacity to perform the job's essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
