About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regulatory Strategy Director for Asset & Wealth Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex regulatory engagements that impact the AWM businesses, as well as cross-line of business regulatory engagements. This role involves developing and executing strategies for regulatory engagements, providing strategic advice to senior leaders, and maintaining key relationships with regulators. The Director will also be expected to lead and manage the team's relationships with senior management, both internally and externally, and to ensure a consistent approach to regulatory engagement across the AWM division.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a large financial institution, regulator, or law firm, with a focus on leading regulatory affairs and/or engagements. A BA/BS or similar degree is required, and an advanced degree such as an MBA or JD is preferred. The role demands a high level of expertise in risk management, control management, compliance, audit, and/or operational risk, as well as the ability to interact with senior leadership in an advisory capacity. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, team-oriented, and exceptionally organized, with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. The position is highly visible and requires the ability to challenge and influence senior leaders, and to drive a culture of regulatory strategy within the organization.
