About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Facilities Management to set the strategic direction and plan for the facilities and property across multiple campuses. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of a master plan, space utilization, and the oversight of all facilities operations, including budget administration. This role involves planning and administering activities related to construction, maintenance, safety, and security, as well as being on call for emergencies. The Executive Director will also lead the implementation of strategic facilities operations and capital plans, manage department budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years' operational supervisory experience in a related field is required, along with skills in forecasting, project management, and long-range planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of construction, OSHA laws, ADA, and safety regulations, and experience with collective bargaining is preferred. The role demands a leader with strong supervisory and interpersonal skills, who is a customer service advocate and can maintain an inclusive and collaborative environment. The Executive Director will also be responsible for staff development, training, and coordinating with other institutional divisions to meet the needs of the college community.
