Job Duties

As the Executive Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the Independent Living facility to ensure exceptional quality and service, sustained resident satisfaction and associate engagement, operational efficiency, and strong financial results. Responsible for all planning, development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of identified areas of service; the development and implementation of all policies and procedures; management of staff; and the delivery of high customer services. In addition, the Executive Director will ensure the health, safety, comfort and well-being of the residents; ensuring access to identified services are available on a consistent basis to improve residents' functioning and quality of life. Maintain adherence to established guidelines and procedures to ensure that all services and amenities are provided in an uncompromising manner and in accordance with the highest standards to meet the goals and mission of the organization Living and the Community.

The Executive Director will be involved in every facet of the operation - Hospitality, Dining, Programming, Sales, Maintenance, and the Business Office. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Senior Housing.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required, master's degree (MA/MS/MBA/MSW) preferred in a related healthcare field or (4) four to (10) ten years related work experience and/or training;

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be able to communicate with clients and employees of all backgrounds and educational levels.
  • Experience working in a Senior Living facility is preferred—ability to present information to senior management effectively.
