DescriptionSurfpoint Recovery is a cutting edge substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment center located in Coney Island, Brooklyn NY. We are an OASAS-licensed and CARF-certified Center of Excellence. Surfpoint Recovery offers inpatient detox, withdrawal, and stabilization services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorder. The Executive Director provides overall strategic and operational direction for the facility, establishes policies and objectives in accordance with directives from the Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Director ensures that all departments are aligned with the strategic goals and support the mission and vision of the organization. Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with State Licensure inspections, Joint Commission, OASAS, CARF, and OMIG requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining Joint Commission and CARF accreditation.
- Works closely with respective Officers on issues related to treatment, business development, clinical productivity, compliance, contract management, revenue enhancement, capital and operating budgets including departmental service line budget development, variance analysis, and expense monitoring.
- Assists with the development and oversight of the annual budgets and collaborates with finance and operation leaders in the management of budget performance.
- Acts as an advocate aware of system resources to develop relationships and opportunities with internal and external parties
- Conceives, plans, and executes proactive strategic initiatives that enable Surfpoint Recovery to continuously improve patient satisfaction.
- Provides medical, clinical, and operational oversight.
RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
- Currently credentialed or licensed in a healthcare discipline.
- 7-10 years of operational leadership experience in administration of a healthcare facility.
- A qualified health professional with at least (2) years of experience in the provision of alcoholism substance abuse and/or chemical dependence.
- Residential program experience preferred.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of clinical reimbursement, federal and state regulations.
