Position Overview:
The Executive Director (ED) at Axionova Engineering Limited will serve as a visionary leader responsible for steering the organization toward strategic growth, operational excellence, and superior service delivery. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the ED will drive the company's mission, enhance operational efficiencies, and strengthen client and industry partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Axionova's mission and values, ensuring alignment across all organizational activities and initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of long-term strategic goals, promoting sustainable growth and scalability.
- Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and guide business development strategies.
- Drive organizational transformation initiatives to enhance business agility and adaptability.
- Oversee the operational framework, ensuring processes, policies, and resources are effectively managed to maximize efficiency.
- Direct resources efficiently, prioritizing key projects and aligning team efforts with organizational goals.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all engineering solutions meet Axionova's high standards for performance, safety, and reliability.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track organizational performance and inform decision-making.
- Oversee budget planning, financial forecasting, and expense management to maintain financial health and sustainability.
- Collaborate with the finance team to set revenue targets, create strategies for profitability, and monitor financial performance.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect organizational assets and interests.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Guide the senior management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Work with HR to attract top talent, enhancing Axionova's reputation as an employer of choice in the engineering industry.
- Implement training and development initiatives to upskill staff, promote career growth, and enhance organizational capability.
- Lead performance evaluations for senior staff, setting clear goals and ensuring continuous feedback.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Act as a representative for Axionova in industry forums, conferences, and community events.
- Collaborate with the business development team to secure new projects, contracts, and business opportunities.
- Represent Axionova in the media, industry panels, and public forums, strengthening the company's image and brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in engineering management, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role within the engineering sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; PMP or similar certifications a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and foster an inclusive, high-performance work environment.
