Executive Director - Firefly SisterhoodAbout Us: Firefly Sisterhood is a dedicated non-profit organization that provides one-to-one peer mentoring for women experiencing breast cancer. Our mission is to foster wellbeing and hope through meaningful connections, ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone.Position Overview: As the Executive Director of Firefly Sisterhood, you will lead a passionate team and drive the strategic vision of our organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all aspects of our operations, from fundraising and program management to community outreach and financial oversight.What You'll Do:
  • Lead and Inspire: Guide our team with transparent and high-integrity leadership, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Fundraising and Development: Develop and nurture relationships with donors, community resources, and grant-giving entities to ensure the financial sustainability of our programs.
  • Program Management: Oversee the recruitment, development, and management of staff and volunteers to deliver our signature one-to-one mentoring program.
  • Community Engagement: Serve as the primary spokesperson for Firefly Sisterhood, advocating for our mission and building strong partnerships with peer organizations, health systems, and community groups.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the organization's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maintaining a positive financial position.What You'll Gain:
