About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading fundraising activities to support the organization's mission and strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing all daily operations of the Foundation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining effective relationships with the Foundation Board, the President & CEO, and the local community. The Executive Director will also be tasked with setting and implementing organizational goals, providing staff leadership, and representing the Foundation to various stakeholders, including the media and government agencies.Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with a preference for those holding a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. The role requires a high level of detail-oriented skill, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, including major gift solicitation, and experience in grant administration. Key skills include the ability to set and communicate visions and goals, as well as strong proposal writing and public speaking abilities. The Executive Director will also be responsible for budget and resource management and must be adept at making sound decisions and acting with integrity.
